What We Believe
Our Beliefs come straight from the Bible and anchor us in the timeless Word of the Living God. Our Values define our community culture, help inform our decision-making, and communicate what to expect when we gather together.
The Nature of God
God is one but revealed in three persons: Father, Son, & Holy Spirit, being co-equal.
Genesis 1:26 • Matthew 28:19 • Mark 1:9-11 • John 15:26 • 2 Corinthians 13:14 • 1 Peter 1:2
The Bible
The Bible is God’s Word to all people. It is written by man, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is relevant for today and contains all that is needed for guidance in Christian living.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 • 2 Peter 1:20-21 • Psalm 119:105
Salvation
Salvation is a gift from God. It is received by putting our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as payment for our sin and therefore cannot be earned.
John 3:16-17 • Romans 3:23-24 • Ephesians 1:7 • 1 John 1:9
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit instructs and empowers Christians for Godly Living.
Luke 4:1 • John 16:13-14 • Romans 8:11 • 1 Corinthians 12:1-11
Healing
Jesus is the Healer
Isaiah 53:5 • Matthew 8:16-17
Water Baptism
Water baptism by immersion is a public declaration of our acceptance of Jesus Christ
Matthew 28:19 • Acts 8:36-39 • Romans 6:3-4
Communion
The Lord’s Supper is a time when we remember Jesus’ sacrifice for us. The bread and juice are symbols of Jesus’ broken body and shed blood.
Matthew 26:26-28 • 1 Corinthians 10:16 • 1 Corinthians 11:23-26
The Second Coming
Jesus Christ will return as He promised.
Acts 1:11 • 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
